1st VISIT

Please allow up to 60 minutes for your first appointment at the clinic.

At Wilton Family Chiropractic we focus on nervous and musculoskeletal pain. We diagnose patients by performing a thorough focused neurologic and orthopaedic exam based on the patient’s symptoms and if required we will refer the patient for xray/MRI examinations to help in the process of diagnosing and treating the patient’s condition.

Going through your case history is the first part of your consultation with Dr. Moloney. In order to get a good picture of your overall health we ask you to fill out an in-depth patient health questionnaire (link to online questionnaire). Our purpose is to discover what health concerns you have, how long ago did the issue begin, and learn your goals for your health moving forward. We also take this opportunity to look at your past medical history, which may be relevant to your case. This, with the physical examination and x-rays if required,

2nd Visit – Report of Findings

Please allow up to 45 minutes for this appointment.

Once Dr. Moloney completes her medical history fact-finding, she will take a look at the overall results of your consultation, exam and x-rays. Dr Moloney will devise a personalized treatment plan based on your individual needs. This treatment plan is recommended for a specific period of time which our patients are expected to adhere to for maximum Chiropractic and health benefits. A key component of chiropractic care is to re-evaluate the treatment plan every few weeks. Our patientsare re-evaluated at the 11th visit to review and assess the patient’s progress and schedule of care.

In this visit Dr. Moloney will be able to answer any questions you may have.

Those questions may include:

  • How can chiropractic help me?
  • What will be the frequency of my visits?
  • All financial questions regarding cost of care
  • What can I do at home to help my care?
  • What nutrients should I be taking to support my spine health?
Ongoing Treatment appointments
Please allow up to 20 minute for ongoing treatment appointment

Throughout your schedule of care plan, your regular appointments don’t take as long as the first two. We appreciate your time is valuable, so regular appointment visits are designed for us to check in about your health, assess and adjust your spine, and provide further rehabilitation or maintenance advice.

We regularly carry out a TOG gait scan to assess how a malfunction in the feet can be destabilizing for the spine correction.
